Project Phase Awards

WHAT YOU’LL WIN:

The school or educational organization that has the highest number of teams selected as semi-finalists or finalists at the conclusion of the Project Phase will be awarded a $1,000 grant from The Actuarial Foundation.

WHAT YOU’LL WIN:

Teams that complete an MTFC project report judged to meet Finalist criteria in the scoring rubric will be selected as Modelling the Future Finalists and will be awarded a travel grant to participant in the MTF Symposium to compete for the final scholarships. Teams will receive:
Economy Class Airfare for the Team
Up to 4 hotel rooms for the Symposium
Opportunity to participate in the national MTF Symposium and present to the live panel of actuary judges for the MTF Championship awards

Championship Awards

One lucky team will be recognized live at the MTF Symposium and win the following:

  • Certificates of Recognition (All Students)
  • (1) x $5,000 Scholarship Award (for Team)
  • (1) x $1,000 Educator Award (for Coach)

One lucky team will be recognized live at the MTF Symposium and win the following:

  • Certificates of Recognition (All Students)
  • (1) x $10,000 Scholarship Award (for Team)
  • (1) x $1,000 Educator Award (for Coach)

One lucky team will be recognized live at the MTF Symposium and win the following:

  • Certificates of Recognition (All Students)
  • (1) x $15,000 Scholarship Award (for Team)
  • (1) x $1,000 Educator Award (for Coach)
  • Have their paper submitted for publication to Actuarial Research Clearing House (ARCH)
