CRA Final Pitch Presentation

This team of students from Seven Lakes High School in Katy were the winners of the Climate Resilience Award, sponsored by Sempra Foundation, in the 2025-26 Modeling the Future Challenge, a program of The Actuarial Foundation. Over the course of last year, these students mathematically modeled the risk of hurricane-induced property price fluctuations in the Gulf Coast. As winners of the Climate Resilience Award, they are engaging in a virtual summer internship exploring community-level, model-driven risk mitigation strategies and their impact to improve community resilience. In this final event of the internship, the students pitch their recommendations for community resilience to stakeholders.

Scenario Workshop

All registered or interested teams are invited to join us as we walk you through preparing for the tackling the 2026-27 Scenario Phase by walking through the process with one of the training scenarios. Participants will have a chance to get your questions answered live by our team of experts.
